Milk Tartlets (Pasteis de Leite)

These Portuguese delicacies are just like little flans infused with vanilla and citrus, and sprinkled with cinnamon. They are great as a snack with coffee or hot chocolate. Contain eggs, milk and butter.

Almond Citrus Cake

This light cake is a Spanish favorite. The almond and citrus flavors blend in total harmony. Serve at breakfast with coffee, as it is done in northern Spain, or simply enjoy as an afternoon snack. Contains eggs.

Carrot Cake

A southern Portuguese favorite. Almond flour and shaved carrots give this cake a unique flavor. One slice and you’re sure to be captured by its complex flavors. A great complement to black tea. Contains eggs.

Persian Love

It is said that whoever takes a bite finds true love! This very light cake brings the flavors of the Middle East together in one simple bite – lemon and cardamom, rose and saffron, and to bring it all together, pistachios. It is a favorite, and can be beautifully adorned for a special event. Contains eggs and cream.

Vanilla Cake

A light 8-inch layer cake filled with chocolate frosting, topped with raspberries, and sprinkled with powdered sugar. Vegan by request.

Marble Cake

This cake is a scrumptious snack. It marries two ingredients that long for each other – vanilla and chocolate – in perfect harmony. Vegan by request.

Spiced Chocolate Cake

This velvety chocolate decadence is for the true chocolate lover. Each bite hints of spices and plays with your senses. Can be made vegan by request.

Seasonal Tart

Everyone’s favorite – a flaky crust filled with seasonal fruit and topped with brown sugar and butter. Not vegan.

Sweet Potato Fritters (Empanadilhas)

A winter confection. The flavor is similar to sweet potato pie, but encased in dough and deep-fried to perfection. Sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar.

A seasonal dessert similar to French toast. Thick slices of bread soaked in Port wine, lightly cooked and served with a honey syrup.

A Portuguese Christmas dessert – thin yeast dough fried until golden and dipped in syrup and honey.

Citrus Flan

A Latin tradition – there is nothing like the sweetness of a flan to end a good meal. Infused with citrus and vanilla, this flan is baked in a citrus caramel sauce.
